2. I'm from the states USA so I'm not sure what your talking about. I did donate a car to the boys club here once and received a $299.00 deduction. I'm not sure how many pounds that is. Probably about 320.........

6. My "best ever bargain" came at an estate auction here in Texas !! I was buying odds and ends -- just killing some time that day when they brought up a box of junk jewelry -- costume stuff -- no big deal --- I thought about my little niece who, at that time was REALLY into the dressing up stuff !! I thought she would really enjoy having a mess of bobbles to play with and I bought the box for a whopping $ 5 usd !!! It wasn't until the next day that I got around to going through the stuff that I had bought and I thought I'd straighten that little box of garbage jewelry out before I gave it to my niece --- but, in doing so I found a very small jeweler's box at the very bottom of all this "stuff" --- it had a very hefty stone in it --- dirty with crud -- so I cleaned it up -- curious -- WOW -- it sparkled really big time !! Got to thinking Hmmmmmmm --- took it to a jeweler friend of mine the next day ---- It was a one and a half caret ruby valued at some $ 1100 usd !!!! I still have the stone in my lockbox at the bank !! I damn sure wasn't giving THAT puppy to a nine year old girl !!! To this day, of all the purchases I've ever made -- THIS was my coup de grais !!!
