How long does it take to get the title of my car when I buy in cash from a dealership in Florida?

I bought it 2 months ago and I still have not received anything.

1. call the dealer,and the dmv you should have reciver it in less than 6 weeks
2. Was it a new vehicle or used? If it was new then the dealership should either have the title or would be able to get it from the factory right away. If it is used there could be many reasons why there has been a hold up with the title; rather than go through a list of possible situations, contact the title department or accounting office of the dealership where you purchased the vehicle and they should tell you what is going on and why you haven't received the title. Titling varies state to state, but many states give the dealership 45 days to complete title work so you have every right to want to know what is going on.
