Overhaulin'

I had a smart buy lease and thus paid the sales tax on the full price of the car. I have since turned in this?

GM lease and leased another GM car under a smart lease not a smart buy. Can I qualify for a refund of the sales tax paid on the smart buy and if so which forms would I need to complete? I live in New York State.

1. No. If you have a business you can do write off's, however vehicle sales tax is not subject to a personal refund. You can double check by placing this question in the legal forum. Good luck.
