How can i get a title on a lien sale car in arizona?

But the lien sale holder is in California!

  1. after you buy the car and pay the lien off the seller should send you the title and/or the necessary paperwork to get the title in your name in your state. You have to rely upon them to send it to you. If they don't it can be a LOT of work for you to track down all the necessary paperwork and signatures needed. Good luck
  2. When you buy it they should give you a title and a certificate of perfection I think it's called, or at least something telling your state that they have no further interest in the car so you can get a clear title. Call the leinholder listed on the title.
  3. You will get clear title when you buy the car. If you don't, don't buy it.
