Overhaulin'

I want to buy a car from Russia. I understand I need a bill of sale. Do I use my State DMV form or a generic?

Could someone please clarify which form I should use? Is it OK to just have a generic form which contains the same information, because, it needs to be sold under Russian laws, correct? Why would they use a US form?

  1. good luck
  2. the one thing you are not looking at here is will it meet the US emission standards. If not you will not be able to licence here in the states. So I would be shure it will beshure I go any farther in this matter.
  3. If it isn't a car approved for sale in the US, and it isn't at least 25 years old, you can't do it. Forget about it. http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/rules/import/
