  1. You buy it at a regular gas station.
  2. new kind of gas stations, in the big cities first. or you can order them from your local gas station.
  3. im pretty sure that honda has some hybrids that you can buy. and as far as getting the fuel. shell stations now have hydrogen pumps in honor of hybrids.
  4. what kind of fuel do u put in a hybrid...i thought it was regular gas
  5. hybrid cars take regular gasoline. The hybrid part refers to an electric motor that supplements the cars engine.....the electric motor is recharged by on-board batteries and does not require separate fuel.
  6. At a gas ststion, They burn GASOLINE!
  7. At a gas station. For the ones I know (Toyota), you use unleaded fuel. It runs on that and a battery, so it uses considerably less fuel than other vehicles.
  8. Hybrid cars use unleaded gasoline. It uses less fuel, but because of the higher cost of a hybrid, you don't save money over the life of the car unless you drive hundreds of miles every day.
  9. a hybrid is only a car that runs on gas and electric, it's not a different type of fuel or anything. That is until the ethynol cars become available...
  10. that is the whole point you go in reg. gas station and fill up and drive.. reason is that they save you miles on gas. Hybrid car have Battery and Gas and it takes turn back and fourth that how you save so much gas. 50 miles per gallon so if it 10 gallon it 500 miles wow save alot but small and They are working on Big trucks cars and vans.
  11. Most Hybrids use gasoline engines to augment the electric propulsion system. I've heard Jeep is looking into a diesel/electric combo but it isn't on the market yet.
  12. the Hybread runs the motor on pump gas. The fule cell car runs on alternative fules so you have to go somwhere that can handle the high presure fill ups.
  13. your an idiot!! hybrid means they run on gasoline and electricity, the gasoline engine in it charges its baterys so it doesn't need to be pluged in !!!!
  14. From a doped up pigeon. ( a high bird - ha ha ha -sorry, I couldn't help myself). TFTP
  15. Yeah, hybrid of what? Gasoline-electric hybrids you buy regular gas for. Diesel-natural gas hybrids you use diesel, buy you have to buy the natural gas at special pumps (fuel co-ops typically have these). Please provide more information if you want a more specific answer.
  16. hybrid fuel cars can run on regular gasoline, some can even run on e85. If you can use E-85 it is cheaper and burns cleaner, I am including the link to locations where you can get E-85, only use it if your car is approved to use it, it can eat holes in your gas tank and fuel lines due to the acid. http://www.e85fuel.com/database/search.php
  17. It depends on what kind of hybrid you are talking about. If you're talking about a Gas/Electric hybrid then you just fuel it at any regular gas station. If you're talking about a vehicle that runs on E85 then good luck finding a fueling station near you. As of right now they are very limited.
  18. Soon you will be able to just plug it into your house!
  19. Hybrid cars take regular gasoline.
