When do car companies have their year end car clearance sale?

I know it occurs during the summer at some point. Does anyone know? My mom is in the market for a new car and I am just curious to know when this will be.

1. Year end sales are just that, YEAR END. Around october through the end of the year. have her go the last day of the month they will be more apt to deal then.
2. August, right before the next year's models start to arrive. j
3. I'm going to go out on a limb here, but I'm going to say the year end clearance sale happen at the end of the year. Pretty much starting in October.
4. Negotiate a car at invoice, less any rebates in place. They're hungry, so go get 'em.
