I want to sell my car for parts. How can I find out where to take the car to and how much I can get for it?

it needs a new engine but everything else works fine.

1. Selling a car for parts usually means it's headed for the junk yard. The most you'll get is a little over scrap iron price. You could also take the car to a swap meet for that particular make and sell it....especially true if your car is a classic or antique. ...and you'll get more money for it. The only other thing I can think of is selling it through a car club for that make. People in these car clubs are usually looking for a car that can be fixed up or restored.
