Do I need to obtain a license to sell automobile parts?

I was interested in selling aftermarket parts for cars. But I don't know exactly how and where to begin. I'm not sure who I would need to contact or if I need a license to sell parts. Any information is appreciated.

1. I think you need a peddling license. I'm not completely sure though.
2. If you're in the USA you'll probably need to contact your State's Dept of Transportation about selling vehicle parts and license requirements for doing so. I am sure you'll need a city selling permit and state resale # for sales taxes.
