How does a Canadian individual sell a car to a US buyer?

Actually it is a gift. Are there any (Canadian) forms that certify that the title has been transferred to the buyer? Is there an official province title like a state title in the US? I helped out some BC ladies in distress in WA state and ended up with their disabled van that can be fixed, but they don't really want it anymore and want to gift it to me for helping them out. Thanks for any suggestions! Chuck
