Is it legal to buy a new car in the US that they dont sell in Canada and bring it back to canada?

I want to buy a VW Touareg V10 TDI which they dont sell in Canada. They only sell the the V6 andV8 here.

2. your best bet is to call the government and ask to be sure. You could also call border services as they know what can and cannot come back into canada. If the engine size is the only real difference then i don't see a problem.
3. I'm not sure that car would meet the emission standards in Canada. Also where would you take it for service?? If they don't sell the V10 in canada I'm sure there's nobody who could service it either. Check with your DMV.
4. Its perfectly legal, but you will have to make the papers/ license plate legal in canada...
5. Yes as long as it meets all of Canada's requirement's.
