can you sell your car if you still owe the bank.?

we are a military family and have just received orders to japan and have to leave in nov this year. We cant take our car with us due to weight restrictions but still owe the bank.... Can we sell the car even though we still owe navy federal..

1. Yes, of course. The loan has to be paid in full using the money from the sale. People do it all the time. If you owe more than you can sell it for, then you have to chip in on that. People do that all the time too.
2. Yes. You'll need to pay off the loan with the proceeds of the sale in order to transfer title, but you can sell it any time you want.
