Why is there more colour variety for cars sold in the US compared to the same car sold in Canada?

I'm looking for a Taffeta White Honda Fit. The colour is offered for fits in the US but not in Canada, which sucks for me.

1. because thats the way it is, you can't undo something someone has already done. There's no way around it.
2. everyone knows canadians cant see as many colors as americans but canadians can play a mean game of hockey!
