What automakers sell diesel cars in the US?

I am thinking about buying a diesel car in the near future. Which automakers sell diesel cars in the United States?

3. VW makes/made the Jetta and Bug with a diesel option. Jeep used to make the Liberty with a diesel option, but has not been available for a couple years. Due to emissions restrictions, there really isn't much available as a brand new vehicle at this time. Used would be the way to go, and even then not many models are available. Light duty diesel vehicles are not nearly as available as across seas.
4. VW AND MERCEDES THAT I KNOW OF AT THIS TIME BUT THE MAINTENANCE IS VERY EXPENSIVE.

6. Volkswagen and Mercedes are the two that jump to mind. If you are considering pickup trucks then most big manufacturers offer deisel models, but not all of them. I would suggest either a VW Golf TDI, Jetta TDI, or Passat TDI, all offering a Deisel engine, but also a turbocharger to help with performance. Good Luck!
7. vw, benz, bmw is coming with deisel in 08. that's just cars, trucks and suv's are different.
