How can I get my husband to sell our old car??

He is afraid that it will be too complicated to transfer the title. He also wonders why people "want the car so bad". UGH. It's a cheap car that runs. Anyhow. has anyone ever sold a car?? lol I just don't think the old rustbucket is worth an arguement. He's just afraid of new things. -who said I was getting a new car?? people sure make alot of assumptions about other people on here...

1. ask him.You dont marry someone you can suggest things to.
2. Omg all he has to do is sign his name on the title and MAYBE get it notarized, big flippin deal. make him sell it lol.
3. Something like it. I bought a horse trailer. It is very easy. When the person comes to get the vehicle, give them the title, oh and don't forget to sign it over to them...that part is at the bottom of the title. Just need a pen and a signature. Good luck it is easy. Do it for your husband if he is worried about doing it.
4. Entice him with all the wonderful things you guys can do with the money. Down payment on a new car? Vacation in Hawaii? Also, perhaps you should offer to handle the title for him. It sounds like he doesn't know how, nor does he wish to take the time to figure it out, so if you figure out the title thing (which is not hard at all just follow the instructions on the title or get a pamphlet at the DMV). Tell him you will do the title thing and he'll probably be more willing.
5. you answered your own question it is a "cheap car that runs". gas is suppose to be 4 dollars a gallon by end of summer, who can afford to pay that and have a car payment on top of that. why not just keep the car and put your money away.
6. If your husband is like me, you're out of luck. I'm a firm believer in driving a car until it dies (and then making at least one attempt to resurrect it before declaring it a loss). Don't push the issue too hard. Transferring the title is easy, so that shouldn't be a show-stopper. I'm just wondering if he wants to keep it because it's cheap, it's paid for, and it runs...
7. Gasoline will be over $5. a gallon soon. KEEP IT,to sell to people who got their SUV repoed. I don't trust plastic intake manifolds,aluminum blocks and heads,computers. My diesel burns used vegetable oil.
8. Transfering the title is the problem of the new owner. All your hubby has to do is sign the "Seller" line of the title and have a Buyer's Order filled out (found online). If he doesn't want to get rid of the car, that another issue entirely.
9. start by saying, honey you know i love that old hunk of rust almost as much as you do,but as much as it pains me to say it, i think its time to find it a new owner who will love and care for it just like you....we....did. and if that doesn't work, sell it and tell him it was stolen,rusted out gas guzzlers are in high demand these days!
10. for his birthday buy him anew car and then he will probably sell the old car.
