Should I sell new or old car?
I own 2007 Toyota Camry (9700 miles) - purchased 6 mo ago and 2001 Honda Odessey (65,000 miles). I have to move out of the country for one year, which may also get extended beyond 1 year. I will be making frequent (every 3 mo) trips to the US and will need one car. I am going to sell one car now. Out of the two, which one should I sell now to get the maximum value. I may decide to sell another car after a year. Thanks in advance.

- Put them both up for sale individually at prices you think are reasonable, then when one of them sells revoke the ads for the other. This will improve your chances that you will at least be able to get rid of one of them. You may also want to get rid of both cars and just get a 2,000 dollar used car somewhere. If you only drive the car every 3 months that amount of time can ruin a good car, all the rubber and seals deteoriate from disuse, your battery will die, all your tires will go flat and dryrot.
- id sell the new one and keep the old one,it makes more sense to do it this way,why let a new car set and run down, you can always buy another new one when you get done ,since your only going to need one for a short while id choose to keep the older one, financially it makes more sense to do it this way, good luck with it.
- Sell whichever car you will lose the least amount of money on.
- if you can get your money back out of the new one i would sell it but most likely you will still owe on the car after you sell it. so unless you can pay off the difference then sell the 2001.
