I moved to virgina and want to sell my old car. My car has a texas registeration. How does the procss work?

  1. The same as every where else in the REAL WORLD...SOMEONE GIVES YOU MONEY AND YOU GIVE THEM THE CAR AND TITLE...DUH!
  2. It doesn't matter where you registered the car previously. It only matters where the new buyer has it registered. If the current title is from Texas, the new owner will have to apply for a Virginia title while getting new plates. It's not a big deal at all.
  3. you should call the title place up and see how much to change the plates I don't think it's that much but it would make it easier to sell it or it would probubly be the buyers problum to pay that fee eaither way the plates will have to be changed.
  4. The buyer has to hassle with that stuff just sell it and when u buy a new car make sure that u correct the infoh
