My friend was supposed to sell me her old car, but she is acting up?

OK; my friend bought a new car a couple months ago and she told me that she was selling her THIRTY year old car for a few hundred. I told her that I wanted to buy it, she said OK. My mother has contacted her and she was SUPPOSED to call us yesterday since my mother left a message on SATURDAY. Why is she acting up? She has not returned our call,s but when I see her at school, she says that she'll call. I think that it was totally cruel to play me up like that, getting me all excited, and then refuse to even return the car. I do not get it. She has a convertible and her first car was an old rusty 1970's car. WHY WON'T SHE SELL IT TO ME?

  1. Maybe she has changed her mind and do not know how to tell you...but guess what...forget the car, go to a used car auction to find something else...you just may find something you like that may be a lot younger than 30 years and a lot more durable. P.S. if you consider her a good friend, do not lose a friendship over something that rots and dies and that would probably leave you on the highway when you are trying to get to a very important engagement in your life.
