How can i get some money out of my car (bought it cash - Loan?)?

I need some extra money but i dont want to sell my car to get it. Is there a way i can get some money out of my car besides simply selling it. I would want to own it 100% again soon however. Thanks!

1. Many banks will give you a secured loan against your car if you do not owe on it. Call to check what the requirements are. One bank I know won't give you a loan on a car that's more than 10 years old or has more than 100,000 miles on it.
