How do you modify cars in GTA San Andreas?

I need instructions on how to modify cars in GTA San Andreas for PC. If you could help it would be greatly apriciated

1. u need to do the missions until u get to the like 6th one, where you have to do the low rider mission, and u go and drive to the garage( it's a house), and u put rims, hydrolics, change the colors, etc. And after u finish the mission, the garage will be open the rest of the game play, if u save the game though.
2. there is one Mod garage in Los Santos near the regular garage that is second closest to the pier, sorta near Burger Shot. you will need lots of money, you go in and there will be a menu and you choose. There is also a garage in San Fierro near the ocean too. good luck.
3. i have played the ps2 version so i can probably help, firstly i dont think you can modify them until you have completed the garage missions in san fiero (not certain but i think this is right, or it might be until you have access to the san fiero area) once you have then certain garages appear where you can purchase mods.
4. by completing missions ive got this game for ps2 but its been a while sinse i played it but basically you will do certain missions involing cars etc and you will eventually come across garages where you can add nitros etc but you have to do so many missions then just remember where they are on your map
