how do you feel about a modified car that is automatic?
why does everyone think that it is for racing... if i wanted to race, then i would of gotten a stick. you guys are such idiots, you think everyone with a stick, races..no they do not.. but thanks for answering, considering that it is base on your own opinions..people have different opinions about the automatic car.

- I hate automatic transmissions because they automatically do the wrong things, like upshifting when i coast downhill or downshift when I get a heavy foot. Learn to drive a car with a decent manual transmission, you'll never go back...
- Most all drag racers in the stock and modified production classes use automatics...GM Powerglides have been the standard for many racers for years. The MOPAR Torqueflite is almost bullet-proof... They may not be popular in "ricers" but an automatic, properly prepared, will outlast and be cheaper to run ...
- Depends on what modification you have in mind. But in general, the only thing an Automatic car has as a benefit, is its ease of driving, but fails in everything else! Automatic cars are weaker, slower, heavier, more problematic, more expensive, harder to repair, more fuel hungry, less stable, less controlled, and harder to modify.
- well it depends on what kind of car it is , if its like a tuner a honda or somethin then yea it bein auto and u wastin your money on it is a waste! if its like a old school muscle car then thats fine thats the only way it would be fine, lemme guess u prob have a neon or a escort and are planning to waste ur money on it? ahahaha good luck wit tha... ok so yea i just checked your previous questions, you have a rsx thas an automatic... wow at least you could have bought a stick! young lady your car will always be slow :)
- automatics are the way to go! most fags that drive weak little hondas think theyre fast cuz they have a manual. well guess what theyre still slow! there will alwys be a faster car than yours
- It is not fun to drive, gets worse gas mileage, it is slower than the manual transmission, and it is more expensive to fix, and it breaks down more often then Manual. I would not get one, but if you can't drive stick, then go ahead.
