Need For Speed Pro Street Game Freeze?

SOMEONE HELP ME. My game freezes after I finish certain races when it exits to the main race selection screen. I can still hear the crowd and the cars, but the is no movement or talking. It also freezes after I modify certain vehicles. What's up with that?

2. you know i have the exact same problem and i thought it was scratches so i returned it and when i got the same game on a new disc, it still did it
