boost car engine horse power?
i have a 1.3liter 4 cylinder toyota yaris `and i was woundering if there was something i could do or modify in the engine to make it a bit more powerfull, like its kinda weak and i like driving fast well over 150K the car takes quite some times to get there and when i do reach that speed the car begins vibrating and i feel like its gona rip apart, so i removed the back to seats as weight reduction and i changed the wheel size from 15'' to 16 with alloy rings and i just need a power boost and i was planning on raising the car by a few inches, and help or sugestions on any of these would be helpful , thanks

- You're not serious right? You want to go fast in a Yaris?? You want a performance boost in a Yaris?? You know the best performance increase? Take it to a Toyota dealer and trade it in on a Celica or something built for perfomance.
- How long is a piece of string? Mate it all depends on how much money you want to spend pretty much, and how much power you want. There is many options you can take. As for that little motor don't expect massive power levels. I've seen a yaris with a turbo kit on it, dont know exactly how much power it produced but its probably the most expensive mod. If your on a budget, then go with the basics. Bigger exhaust system. Get your injectors hi-flowed. Larger fuel pump. I'm sure there is many bolt on parts for these cars. As for driving that fast in that little car, I wouldn't be raising the cars height, I would be lowering it, as to improve the centre of gravity which would help its stability at higher speed. Hope this has helped
- I'm driving with my old 1988 nissan sentra well maintained of course and sometimes I'm driving it to the interstate at 150K/H and after intalling a surplus a turbo I can now go on at 180K/H
