Overhaulin'

I am 18 and i got disqualified for 3 months and i was wondering if anyone knows cheap car insurance for me?

ive tried things like confused and the comparing sites but i didn't know if anyone knew of smaller or more independent companies which are good at these types of quotes. and i know that it was bloody stupid of me and im putting it down to a learning curve so i would please ask for answers which will actually help rather than answers which are saying how stupid i am when i already know it thank you.

  1. Get a car mag like Redline as they usually have heaps of companies that advertise insurance in them, and just get a quote from them all.
  2. At your age there is nothing cheap as far as auto insurance goes, just wait til your 21 or above.
  3. good luck but please dont drive down the same road where my kids play. Take your time you have many driving years ahead of you. let them be good ones
  4. Daniel S, There are lots of sites where you can get a free insurance quote. http://www.autoadviceonline.com/Auto-Insurance-Quote.html It only takes a few minutes to do.
  5. There is nothing cheap at your age and your disqualification has made it worse unfortunately. Good luck
  6. hi best bet is try all the screen scrapers, momeysupermarket, go compare etc, failing that get the yellow pages out and start ringing brokers. failing that have a look in the back of autotrader magazine its not going to be cheap but you might get a bit better deal best of luck
  7. Try a company called catarol.
  8. adrian flux is one of the more popular ones unfortunately at this age, insurance is never cheap, unless you're female i'm 19 and pay £1300 insurance on my Honda Civic (2 years driving, 3pts [PC10], fully comp with mods declared) legalised robbery is what insurance should be called
  9. http://www.adrianflux.co.uk/ I have heard many people say that they have been the only company who would cover them - e.g. young drivers with fast cars etc. My husband used them for bike insurance on a Sports bike with not much no claims, they were the cheapest.
  10. I was able to save money through a free on-line quoting service at http://gsx1.com/InsuranceComparison.html another one here http://finance.ebookorama.com/ukusa-selected-resources.php sorry to hear about you getting disqualified and yeah it is a learning curve I was no different myself!
