- You can find all your answers here...
- A car is considered a classic after 25 years (NY) I use an insurance company based in NJ (condon & skelly) to insure my 62 chevy, they base the premium on what you think the car is worth, example "car is worth 27k, insurance = $213" for one year, with reasonable coverage, and limited to 2500 miles per year
- There are several companies that handle strictly classic and collectible vehicles. They tend to be less expensive that "regular" insurance because you drive the vehicle less and are usually more careful. Do a search for collector car insurance, then compare the diferent companies. I have Hagerty on both of mine, but you may find one that works better for your situation.
