i keep getting really annoying pop ups that i just cant stop !!!!?

hi there , recently my wife was getting quotes for car insurance , since then i keep getting annoying advertising pop ups .My pop up blocker is enabled , i downloaded a professional pop up blocker ( which i have removed as thid didnt work ) , i have run spybot -agv and norton and am virus free so i dont know how to stop them. I even ran spybot in safe mode and still they come . if anyone can help it would be really great . Thanks

This use to happen with me then I download firefox, all of them have been blocked now...firefox or safari will do the job.
try changing your browser to firefox which is free to download this a much beter internet browser and it stoped my popups

Try deleting programs from you're Add and Remove Programs app. I deleted something I hadn't known was and it removed the pop-ups. Are you using firefox or internet explorer? Firefox has better add-on pop-up blockers than explorer so i highly suggest switching.
Firefox for me too. Blocks 99% of popups compared to IE.
I suggest that you download "Malwarebyes' Anti-Malware". Update then scan. It should find and remove any malware. Reboot into safe mode. Rescan. The you should be alright. Download Safari for windows and use it as your browser.
im sorry to say you may have a virus but just in case go to tools-->internet options-->and delete cokkies files and history if that donsnt work you got a virus its a typical one if it is and the anti virus prob wont suspect anything as it will just be like a normal web page with a bit of no virus code it gets installed in the start up folder or its on auto run
First off you can only run one AV, delete the rest. Secondly you can run as many antispyware programs as you like. You have spyware on your PC.
