negotiating price of brand new car?
i am looking to buy a COROLLA SEDAN LE 4A 2009. they are going for $19,900 MSRP canadian ($19,770 US) first of all, is it a good car for that price? http://eastway.toyota.ca/dwp/experience/en/home/newvehicles/series/COR/BU46EP2009/specificationsandfeatures/nv_specs_features.jsp?series=COR&model=BU46EP&year=2009 secondly, i know this car has probably been selling great lately, so do you think i could still negotiate a slightly lower price ? maybe instead of $19,900.....$18,200 ?

- Corollas just like most economy sedans are are high in demand. Honestly you could do better for almost 20k. I would advise you check out Mazda3 & Hyundai Sonata. You could save 3-4k by going with a new Pontiac G5 or Chevy Cobalt. They handle better than corollas do. Plus it supports more American and Canadian workers.
- the MSRP is just the recomended price for dealerships to sell them from the factory always fo 2-3k lower then that so around 17k then work your wway in the middle..slowly like 200 more...then you should get it around 18k make them work for it...its summer and this is the time to muy, great deals with o% interest dont say you are willing to pay $18,200 of the top because they will use that as a starting point
- Hey, i bought my 2009 Toyota Corolla Le month ago. I paid 19k, including tax. So, you should bargain the price to below 18k, like i did. 18k + Tax = 19k
