Buying a car what should i buy?

I had a car accident we need to buy a new car I had honda crv (What do u think the estimate price will be if i rode 150,000 miles and everyhtin is in good condition it is from 2001) I think i will get from 5000 to 8000 from insurance company I mean i am looking for car like crv camry accord Rav4 something like that nothing too samll or too big I can a few more dollars what car should i buy USED/NEW SEDAN/(small)SUV what do u recommend me in buying and can u give me some heads up on the price for crv rav4 camry accord civic that is 2008 or 2009 model Price without leather seats, Nav, sunroof and all the other goodies Thnks help please any recommendation??? just 1 answer??? i am thinking about buying Hyundai Genesis OR Azera Genesis is great it is better than lexus and other companies for that price it is amazing but it is 38000 any recommendation

1. you can check the price of yours on kelley blue book or kbb.com and i wud recommend a camry or a honda civic or accord, they all last pretty long and get good gas mileage, which is good these days
2. drive the new CRV and see what you think, it's much larger than the old ones. You might not like it. I found the bigger wheels to give it better ride, the new 4 cyl engine was much more powerful than the old ones. if you don't like that look at the Hyundai Santa Fe V6 or the Kia Carens avoid the Rav4 it's 4cyl is underpowered and the 6 cyl pushes the price to $30K http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/default.aspx?make=Kia&model=Rondo&state=new also look at Subaru & Nissan Altima Mazda3, Toyota Matrix/Pontiac Vibe
