Has anyone bought a car from the San Antonio Police Auction?

I need a second car and they say it is cheap buying cars from the auction. Is it worth buying one from there? Are they in working condition? Are there any other fees other than the price of the car?

1. Yeah of course, you can sometimes get cars from an auction for up to 90% off the normal retail price. Try and find an ex-government car auction, those are the best.
2. It's worth buying a car from an auction. Most of them are in working condition. But you should bring a mechanic with you to give it a through inspection because they are sold in as-is condition. They add fees on top of you bid like auction fees, taxes and registration.
