Where is the best place to sell a car for cash in San Antonio?

I don't want to sell my car for $500 at a junkyard or for $1,000 at CarMax. I already looked at KBB.com and its worth more than 2,000. CarMax told me they could give me $1,000 based on car auctions and I had a person who buys cars from auctions all the time and looked it up; he told me $2,300. I heard of CarMax ripping people off.

1. You get what it is worth. New tires or new cd player do not raise value. All repairs are considered regular maintenance. If you want to know what you will get go to KBB.com and put in yourcar. If it needs major repair look in trade in Poor cndition and if not fair condition is what all cars used are worth. Remember if over 10k niles a year you need to deduct .12 a mile over and if odometer does not work it hs no real cash value or been in accident but in excellent condition now would still be poor trade in. A dealer will pay what car is worth by what prior week auction reports say.
2. Be honost the best place in San Antonio to sell your car is to people instead of dealerships. Dealerships will never give you a fair deal on your car so looking for one would be wasting your time.
