how do I modify my car to runn off of Vegetable Oil?

I look in the store and vegetable oil is like a 1.50 a gallon

3. 1. you must have a diesel engine 2. transesterify the vegetable oil into a product called 'biodiesel', using lye and ethyl alcohol(one way) and producing biodiesel and glycerol.... 3 live long and prosper, however, you must live somewhere other than the US, as veggie oil is a lot more expensive than 1.50 4. do not try this if you have a gasoline powered vehicle...
4. First you have to get your car to have a diesel engine. Then u don't have to buy vegetable oil, go to a fast food restaurant and they will more likely than not give you the left over veggie oil they were going to toss. Hope this helps:)
