what is the best solution to remove heavy rust from classic car parts during an automobile restoration?

What rust-removal or rust remover products are on the market that will help with de-rusting heavily rusted antique and classic car parts? also the body panels have surface rust on them that i will need to get rid of as well.

  1. sand blasting the parts is the best way to go
  2. bead blasting
  3. sand blasting is the best and easiest way to do this,if the parts are small enough you can use a blast cabinet juts on the smaller parts, then use a larger blaster on the outer panels, using low pressure blast method wont damage the panels and its the best way to remove any rust you find, good luck.
  4. The best thing I have found to remove rust from all metals is a rust remover call De-oxy-Does-It This product is a non-toxic rust remover and it is cheap but best of all it can be re-used many times over and over again! I think it is superior to blasting because it really gets ALL the rust out of the pits by soaking. You can see it and read all about it below visit: http://www.deoxydoesit.com
  5. if is possible to Bern the aria and then repair the damage , or cut the bad section and reaper it. or you can sand the aria well and then you treated the area with a comical and then repair.
