Do you see the many new efficient car models as something good coming out of high gas prices?
I saw an interview on TV with the owner of a car dealership and he said the only way to get car makers to make more hybrids and electric models is thru higher demand. Maybe then, high gas prices are good in the long run for America?
Public Comments
- Absolutely. Before the gas crunch, car makers made much more money and profit on big gas guzzler trucks and SUVs, and were not so interested in making more fuel efficient vehicles. Now things have changed and it is one of the positive things that have resulted from higher gas prices.
- if anything good has happened, it would be ppl changing their driving habits.
