what size of alloy wheels would fit a 1999 saxo 1.1L eastcoast?

with out modifications needed i want new rims on my saxo i can found some i like that are 15" and are just under £300 but i wanna know how big i can go before i need to modify the body of the car to fit the wheels i just passed my test yesterday but the alloys on it, are like wrecked they are all scratched and tbh look like they are made of plastic and cost 50 quid lol

  1. i would probably say 14 or 15" although not certain. Does it really need new alloys? You should just save your money.
  2. If i was you spend the money on the tires, go for a low (thin) profile. DO NOT GO TOO BIG, if you get too wide or big wheels you will loose the handling of the car. i know what you mean the tires do look kinda thin and tacky, follow my advice as above and make sure you keep the tire pressure high. plus putting any modifications on you car will cost your insurance dearly, if they are dreamed to be performance enhancing.
  3. I would say 16-17" but I would find a saxo forum and ask on there thats your best bet or look on ebay and see what the majority of modified saxos have or ask the seller if they needed body mods to fit their wheels
  4. seventeens are the max that will go on without modifocation. if you lower the car it is still posible but the wheel arch liners have to be removed. iv lowered many vtr/s up to 60mm with seventeens on and with them you need to trim the plastic wheel arches. on there body kit.
