New car blowout sales- How long will new 2008 models be available once 2009 models hit the dealerships?

Okay, let me rephrase my question...once a dealership starts their blowout sale, how long on average will it take for them to sell the remaining 2008 models? This would be for a Nissan Altima.

1. New 2008 will be available til they are all sold as they quit making 2008 when they start making 2009...........UJN
2. Like the first answer said, until they sell out. If the dealer can't keep the 2008 model of a car on the lot, it will not be there once the 2009s start coming in. Slower moving models, may still be hanging around for a few months.
