what car should i buy?

for the last two years ive been driving a 1995 pontiac bonneville SE. Not a bad car but not exactly luxury or anything special. Yesterday, it died on me and I really dont feel like pumping more money into it. I have around 25-28000 dollars for a new car. 1. Should I wait untill 2009 models come in or start looking for a car now? Any sugesstions for car models?
