1989 Geo Spectrum Body Kit?

I build cars. Usually older sports cars, Right now I have a 1978 Trans Am, and a 1984 Pontiac Fiero. Today, I am thinking of a new sort of project. I found a 1989 Geo Spectrum , with a 1.5 liter 4 cylinder, and a 5 speed, 100,000 miles and new clutch, approximately 38 - 40 mpg. I WANT 38-40 MPG, but i dont want a geo spectrum, or a brand new car, so i looked for a body kit, of course it doesnt exist. Anyone think of a car there is a body kit for that could be slightly modified to work?? this is a picture of a car that is the same body style http://wikicars.org/en/Image:1989geospectrum.jpg i wouldnt mind putting some sweat into updating the look of this old car and tuning it up, put some different exhaust on it, and making me a great gas mileage different looking, car! sounds like the sort of projects we should all be doing so that we arent all paying 4.00 a gallon for gas and getting 10-12 mpg in our trans ams :-) let me know something.
