Can I sell my car without an engine?
I have a 2001 mitsusbishi galant es.One month ago my timimg belt went off and mess up my engine.I was told I needed a new engine 1000 dollars plus labor. I still owe money on this car like 1700.I dont have the extra 1000 to fix it.Can I still sell the car without the engine and pay off my loan? And how much would my car sell for?

- Without an engine? 1000 bucks maybe. Give or take a few hundred. So no, you can't pay off your loan by selling this car. You really need to replace timing belts at the recommended time, BTW. That isn't a polite suggestion, that is a cost of ownership.
- Yes you can still sell it as long as it's paid off but not before. The price depends on its value with a working motor but then you would only get about half of that.
- good luck on it, but you got to find some one , that realy want it, i say odds are, no
