what do i need to buy a car with cash at a dealership?

i need to know what to bring and please no guesses i want to either pay with a check or cashiers check i should have been more specific

6. Most of the time a personal check is acceptable or a cashiers check. You will need a drivers license. Most dealer are happy to take a Check. If for some reason you do pay in cash if its over $10000 the dealer has to have a social security number due to IRS rules but other than that you should be good to go. The dealer should contact your Insurance company to set it up you will not leave the lot till its covered in most states.
