What is the best way to go about getting financing on a new car?

I'm considering purchasing a new car. I'm 22 have no credit cards but I am a college graduate who has been paying off student loans since I finished school in May 07. I got a job in September and have been working since. Would it be better for me to try to get a car loan from a bank or at a dealership?

  1. Do not get a new car. You can find the same car just as perfect for so much less used. Buy what you can afford stay away from loans
  2. Try a bank or credit union as you will get a better rate than the dealer. Also with no credit history to speak of and a short work history, the only way you will probably get a loan at all is with a co signer. They have tightened credit up . So the chance of you getting a loan yourself is slim because you need a very very good credit score and credit history to do it yourself..........md
  3. tons of websites for bad and no credit car loans, try http://www.carcredit.com
