I own my own vehicle but have a title loan on it can i still sell my car then pay the loan if so how and were?

  1. No, you can't sell you car if you have a Title Loan on it. You'll have to pay that loan back in order to get your Title Back. The new buyer is going to want a Title to the car.
  2. NO!! You have to pay off the title loan first before you sell it. You might be able to get a buyer to take over payments for you. But don't expect any money in return.
  3. Gotta pay the loan first so it's yours to sell. Might be able to make a deal with the bank to pay off the loan and sell at one sitting. Buyer makes one check to the bank and one to you.
  4. YES, Tell the buyer up front there is a lien on the vehicle and if they are buying it for what is owed on it he can go to the bank with you, he pays you, you pay the bank, they release the title and you go your separate ways.
