Help! I need a first car in the Ann Arbor, MI area?

Im looking for my first car, and am having no luck. Ive tried craigslist and vehix, but im not looking for a expensive car, just one that works :) . I live near Ann Arbor Michigan, and im looking for a 1,500 to a 2,500 car. Good websites that have car ads or anyone selling their car in my area would be very helpful
