Can I get a new car loan with a repossession my report if I have a valid cosigner?

I had my car repossessed about 1 year ago. Payment was in transit and as soon as they received the payment (2 days later) my car was released. I am looking to buy a new car and realized my credit score was hurt but can I get a new car loan with a very valid co-signer?
