Overhaulin'

I have a 2005 Scion xA manual transmission. I would like to modify it to make it more of a performance vehicle?

I want to lower my car first and add a muffler, but I'm not sure exactly how to go about doing that. So if you could tell me how to do that, and any other advice regarding making my car a performance vehicle, that would be great! Thanks!

1. This car will never be a performance vehicle. Too small of an engine to make any serious power. You are wasting your money if you think that a new muffler and air cleaner will make nay noticeable difference. If you want a performance, sell your economy vehicle and buy something with a V8. At least then you will have a decent platform to work with. It seems all too often people buy something with too small of an engine and then aren't satisfied with it's performance.
