Overhaulin'

On the TV show Overhaulin', why does the host ALWAYS ruin the surprise? Why can they just reveal the car?

After all the anticipation of thinking you'd get you stolen car back, why can't they just do the reveal and let it surprise the "mark" that way? Guess they've got to be 'tarded or something... The host always tells the "Mark" that their car has been overhauled, can't they just shom 'em it's been overhauled?

2. Because it adds to the surprise. You might have a car stolen, and when you get to somewhere you think it is, and it isn't, then BANG! There's your car. It adds to excitment and plays with the human mind.
