what engines would fit in a 1989 ford mustang?

'89 Mustang for sale down the road from my house(should be able to pick it up for about $1200-give or take) just curious to see if it is worth buying to do an engine swap. Right now, it's the 2.3L engine, and the body looks to be in pretty good shape, as does the rest of the car. Thanks.

2. you could put any engine in with enough money you can make any engine fit
3. if u just want to do engine swap can got up to 4.0 liter engine v6 keep tranny v8 need engine and tranny in the two swap need also computer and wiring diagram for both
4. A 302 or 351 would be an easy swap.
