Would you let Chip Foose and the "Overhaulin'" gang redo you car?

- Shit no, I dont want any PS2 in my backseat!
- Hell yes I would...assuming I had the type of car that would be worth re-doing...like a 69 chevelle or any mustang!! I love their work, so much better than 'pimp my ride'!
- I love his work but it depends on the car. Some of the old muscle cars are getting mighty rare, it seems a shame for them to be "Fooseified". I have a '70 Challeger R/T 440. It's stock and I want to keep it that way. On the other hand if it was a more common car not worth so much I'd love to have them redo my car. No question that it would be really cool to cruise around town in a Chip Foose car.
- uh no way there are way to many make over shows (pimp my ride, overhaul, etc) and the result isnt practical if i own a 1969 shelby gt500, i wont even let bill ford touch it
- yawn
- You bet. Those guys are awesome. The things Chip can draw with a marker.
- Yes I would.
- Foose is an amazing engineer. Some of the chassis's he has designed over the years are engineering marvels. As a matter of fact, my '32 Ford Coupe has a Foose chassis. But as far as letting him build my car, I'll do it myself.
- In a Heartbeat!!!! This guy is a true pro and does things the RIGHT way!
- Is this like Pimp My Ride? Haven't seen that show, but probably not! (See my answer to Pimp My Ride question.)
- Only if they leave me in charge of the "trick" that goes with it..... hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
- YES! That would speed up our job a lot. (In the Body Shop biz, people order complete restorations and then expect it to be done in a week!)
- If they would do it the way I want it done and no stupid pranks, yes. If not, "Keep your hands in plain sight and step away from the vehicle."
