Where to find cheap but good used cars?

I've searched vehix.com and went to a few places but everythings really expensive i mean 5,000 for a 1998 toyota corrola? is there any good websites i can try?

1. First...stay away from used car lots. Try and find a private owner. They are usually more honest. You can also go to the auto auctions. The bidding usually will start at whatever the seller wants to get for the car.
2. try autotrader.com..or just drive around town and see if there are cars for sale.. i saw two the other day on my street
3. Craigslist and AutoTrader.com are pretty good sites to go to. There are also a couple of car auction sites you can go to that have really cheap cars. http://www.mycarauctionreview.com has a review of the most popular ones.
