How is a 2008 Honda Civic available in '07? Should I buy a 2008 Civic in '08 or wait for the 2009 Civic?

The 2008 Model cars are generally launched in '07. Why is this? Also in that case, it seems better to wait for the launch of the 2009 model if I have to buy a model this year ('08)?

1. Models are generally released in the fall of the year before their model year. ex. 2009 Civic probably released Fall 2008 Eventually you have to stop waiting and just buy.
2. that`s how latest models are introduced on the market...................if you`ll buy the `09 model then it would be probably out this november `08.......2010 model out on `09.......2011 out on 2010.......and so on...................
3. haha car companies are retarded its like people lying about their age. they might just want the car to sound futuristic as if its one year ahead of all the other cars but really theres nothing about it. they just say its from the next year to mess with your head. they are evil :D. as for your dilemma about which car to buy, look at the statistics for each car. look at what they come with and such and decide which one you think is better. its like the transition from the old mitubishi eclipses and the new ones ... ewwie i hate the new ones.
