When's the best time to buy a new car?

I'm looking to buy a new car and I'm wondering what time of the year is the best time to buy one. I see sales throughout the year but I was wondering if any of them are better than the rest of them. I was thinking the 2009 models will be marked down when the 2010 cars come out. Would this be true? Thanks.

1. Yes that is true. You should also check out the summer sales SUBARU has. Theyre pretty awesome.
2. its a trick question.. there is NEVER a "best" time.. if you wait til the 2010 models come out, all the 2009's will be picked over and you'll be stuck with whatever is leftover.. the best advice i can suggest is to just take advantage of whatever is out there when you are ready to buy.. you may pay a couple dollars more, but you have the satisfation of knowing you got what you wanted.. incentives change all the time and you'll never know from one day to the next what is going to be out there.
